Kim A. Talbert is an award-winning writer and conference speaker. She created the “Mind, Body, Spirit” column which first ran in the Lake Country Sun newspaper. She has also been published in Guideposts, Catholic Leader, Catholic Digest, Catholic Yearbook, Living for Better Health, and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Kim is currently working on two books—one on methamphetamine and one with a humorous twist about relationships.
“Mind, Body, Spirit” began running weekly on 8/31/07 and covers topics on health, fitness, and inspirational perspectives of life.
Kim has a BBA in Marketing and a Master of Theological Studies.
Her education, spirituality, fitness experience and sense of humor are reflected in “Mind, Body, Spirit”. She not only writes about health and fitness, she lives it. By maintaining a health conscious lifestyle, at 50 years old she is able to participate in one of the following activities daily: wakeboarding, power walking, free-weight training, bow-flexing, fishing, cross-country skiing, swimming, kayaking, mountain hiking, backpacking, and yoga.
Because personal tragedies in Kim’s life allow her to empathize with humanity’s suffering, she draws from her survival through strong faith and transforms life’s negativity into inspirational pieces.

Kim,
You are one of the strongest people I know. Your faith keeps you strong and your love for other people keeps those around you strong too. I feel blessed to call you my friend and even more blessed because you call me yours.

You look exactly the same as when I met you so many years ago. How long ago was that?

Hey Deborah,
